GG+A was retained by a law firm hired on behalf Livingston County property owners to review an economic impact report prepared by a professor consultant with Illinois State University’s Center for Renewable Energy in support of an application by Invenergy Wind Development North America LLC to develop a proposed 135-MW wind energy project in Livingston County, Illinois. GG+A reviewed and commented on the economic (jobs, income, and output) estimates prepared by the consultant using the National Renewable Energy Laboratory JEDI input output model of development and operation of the proposed project. GG+A’s review found the estimates were misleading and overstated due to several unanswered and misleading inputs to the JEDI model.
